2017 World Championship Veterans team squads

The EPBF Paintball Sport and Strategy Committee

At our recent annual meeting, the EPBF board was united in electing Kerem Barcool of Turkey to lead our sport and strategy committee. Kerem’s experience and enthusiasm for our sport is second to none, and his main goal will be to help support and advise new countries set up their own federations under the guidance of the EPBF.

"I started to play paintball in 2005 With my team Izmir Angelpark, We became Turkish Champions several times and we competed internationally in the Millennium Series quite successfully as well. I am running several paintball fields in Izmir and one of co-founders of Paintball Federation in Turkey. I also have been part of Turkish national team as both a player and manager. National champions, European champions, world cup winners and be a part of many finals ... It has been a great run and unforgetteble moments on the field; for now to be elected to be able to work for paintball off the field is another great honour for me ... I feel very excited and ready to work for EPBF by the authority of our new president Mr Baddeley and in perfect harmony and cooperation with our creative executive committee members. World Championships in 2017!

The EPBF would once again like to welcome teams from all over the world, as we host our 2017 World Championships across all four categories: Men’s, Women’s, Under 19s and Veterans. 
We’d also like to take this opportunity to invite interest for a disabled category, to potentially be hosted in Bitburg. 
Furthermore, we would like to show our commitment and dedication to the next generation of player, by making entry completely free for our member nations into the Under 19s event in Paris. 
One of our goals moving forward is how to structure and develop our youth player base, and we are working alongside all of our federations to achieve this.
We’ve also decided to review our rulings on new teams entering these particular events. From now on, tie break situations following a five minute overtime point will no longer be decided by seeding, but move to a two minute, sudden death one-on-one. 

We’re expecting 2017 to be the biggest World Championship to date for our sport, so please register your interest as soon as possible!
