2021 UPBF Paintball World Championships

UPBF Paintball World Championship 2021 will see national teams from around the world coming together again in the beautiful Chantilly, France to battle it out for top spots in their respective categories.

2020 European Championships [Cancelled]

Due to the second wave of increased cases of Covid-19 in Spain, most sporting events in Gandia are getting cancelled for October and November 2020.

The EPBF is working closely with the heads of Health of the Valencian Community and was advised against holding the event in October.

Sporting event regulations in Spain are also now limiting events to only 300 people which makes it impossible to host the EPBF Championship during this time.

The safety of our players and staff are very important to us and therefore due to the second wave as well as restrictions imposed on events in Spain we decided to cancel the current EPBF Championship that was scheduled for 8-11 October 2020.

Updated information about the future Events in 2021 will be announced as soon as confirmed.

Please note the following relating to U16 / U19 and Veterans:
In line with international events world wide in most sporting codes the EPBF/UPBF will also extend the DOB for 2021 accordingly which will remain the same as for 2020.

To be eligible country teams with players that would have played this year and would not have been eligible in 2021 should provide us with the names of those players to be considered for the extension. 

Country Team Organizers must please provide their team rosters by no later than 30 Sep 2020 to qualify for this extension for 2021. Team rosters can be sent to paul(at)upbf.net for extension request.

2019 World Championships conditions

MEN’S PAINTBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Date: Thu 18 July 2019 (Prelims) / Fri 19 July 2019 (Play-offs)
Team Registration/Sign-In: 10:00 18 July 2019
Games will be scheduled to start from around 13:00 on 18 July 2019
Play-offs scheduled to take place on Friday 19 July 2019 from around 17:00

Venue: Prague Airport Letnany 

Cost: € 500 (UPBF Affiliated Members) / € 1250 (Non-Affiliated Members)

The UPBF Men’s Paintball World Championship will take place in conjunction with the NXL Europe during their third stop of the 2019 season in Prague, Czech Republic right outside of the Prague Airport Letnany.

National teams in the men’s category from all over the world will come together to battle it out to see which country will claim the Men’s Paintball World Champions Title for 2019.

VETERANS, WOMENS, U19, U16 CHAMPIONSHIPS

Date: Thu 26 September 2019 (Prelims) / Fri 27 September 2019 (Play-offs)

Games will be scheduled to start from around 12:00 on 26 September 2019
Play-offs scheduled to take place on Friday 27 September 2019 from around 17:00

Venue Address: Getsewoudweg, 2151 MS Nieuw-Vennep, Netherlands

The Venue is around 15 mins drive from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and about 30 mins from Amsterdam Centraal.

Womens 5-player Cost: € 300 (UPBF Affiliated Members) / € 600 (Non-Affiliated Members)

Womens 3-player Cost: € 150 (UPBF Affiliated Members) / € 300 (Non-Affiliated Members)

U19 Cost: € 300 (UPBF Affiliated Members) / € 600 (Non-Affiliated Members)

U16 Cost: FREE (UPBF Affiliated Members) / € 300 (Non-Affiliated Members)

The UPBF Combined Paintball World Championship will take place in conjunction with the NXL Europe during their final stop of the 2019 season in Amsterdam, The Netherlands close to the Schiphol International Airport.

National teams in the Veteran’s, Women’s, U19 and U16 categories from all over the world will come together to battle it out to see which country will claim the Paintball World Champions Title for 2019 in their respective categories.
